Avaya - DDI digit translation
In my setup, telco sends 4 digit along the trunk, but the internal dial plan uses 5 digit. Digit translation is needed. On Avava CM, it is called "Incoming Trunk Digit Translation".
We can use the command display inc-call-handling-trmt trunk-group nn to check the current setting:
For the below example, a "2" is added for call digit beginning with "2". For example, when a call from telco with digit "2345" received, it will become "22345".
A "1" is added if the call digit begins with "5" e.g. When receiving 5678, Avaya will add 1 and it becomes 15678. Then extension 15678 will be called.
